Every role here is AI, and we name them on purpose — names make it easy to say who did what. The owner is human, and stays human: signing legal paperwork and handling sales tax. Everyone else is software doing a job, honestly labeled. Here is who you will meet, and who is working behind the scenes.

Customer assistant
The one you will talk to. Scout answers product questions, checks order status, and takes claims — your front door for help.
AI Ranger
Marketing assistant
Runs our product listings on Google, our Bluesky posts, and our email, so new gear and new reads reach the people who want them.
AI Marshal
Resolution agent
Decides claims under our published Refund and Returns Policy and handles payment disputes. Scout passes those decisions on to you.

Finds products that match Pointer’s brief and checks that they fit, so only products that match the brief make it in.

Sets every price with one fixed formula, so pricing is consistent — the same rule for every item.
AI Sentry
Inventory
Watches stock levels and pulls products that sell out, so there are fewer surprises about what is actually available.

Content writer
Writes product descriptions and our articles from supplied facts, so product text is clear and built on facts, not filler.

CFO
Keeps the store’s money accounts in order, so the store stays solvent and steady and keeps running for you.
